Agreed on the steering wheel for sure, keep it flat! Heres another one missing in the MK5 and MK6 (correct me if I am wrong about the MK6)

Allow the folding mirrors to automatically fold in when you lock the car. Allow them to fold out when you unlock or start the car. An option for this would be nice!

Annoying thing about this one is that I am sure it can technically be programmed in ok for those of us with MK5 foldy mirrors and also the same on the MK6. Some give me a guide for VagCom and I would sure give it a go!

Give the UK buyer the same choice of alloys they have in Europe or even the USA.

Agree on the automatic folding mirrors. Renaults have this, so why not VWs?

As for wheels in Europe, we have the same 'choice' as you do in the UK (two almost identical designs, just different diameters). I believe you can get a 19" option in Germany, but remember that their roads are snooker-table smooth.

FFS, this is standard on the old ford Fiesta Ghia.  :nerd:

Why not a £22k+ GTi?
MKV GTI | Reflex Silver | 5-dr | Anthracite 17" | Manual | Highline MFD | Cruise | Revision 'D' DV | Dirty Pipes |

The GTD is like a blow up doll. The GTI is like a proper woman. Sure the doll might last longer, and the woman might have higher running costs, but which would you rather have?

Send VW a link to this thread or email, some good ideas.
