Suggestions for the MkVII
« on: 03 September 2009, 18:15 »
    Dear Volkswagen,

Having owned my MkVI for a month now, I would like to submit the following list of tweaks - in no particular order - that I would like you to implement for the MkVII GTI:

    - standard xenon & LEDs
    - wider choice of wheels
    - heated seats that you don't have to switch back on every time you start the engine
    - heavier bolstering at shoulder height on the front seats
    - a less fiddly cruise control
    - greater difference between Comfort and Sport settings on the ACC (i.e. an even more compliant Comfort setting)
    - an even fatter steering wheel rim (P.S. the flat bit isn't really necessary)
    - about 15% more power (250-ish would be nice)
    - parking sensors 'on all the time', i.e. not just when you engage reverse
    - delete the seat belt chime (I know you will never do this, but I'm asking anyway)[/li]

Anyone think of anything else? :)

More choice on alloys (in the UK)
More choice on leather (colour wise) E.g. Saw a Mk 5 today, black with sand beige leather, looked great.
Tornado Red 5 door GTI, DSG, Winter Pack, Lux Pack, RCD510+dynaudio, Park Assist with Camera, Sunroof, Cruise, Mud Guards & FT indicator.

Have they sorted out the design flaw that dumps a roof load of water all over your arm when you have the window open?  If not thats a must for the Mk7.
