Anyone seen a Mk6 GTI on the road in the UK?

Apart from my test drive the only one I've seen was last week near Norwich.


Not many about yet, maybe everyone is waiting for 59.


Saw loads in Germany.  :drool:

saw a white one at the barbican in plymouth.
car looks great, but i'm not a fan of white cars- even if its the new black (for the next year or so)

Me not seen any either.  Only seen 2 on the stealers forcourt, so had an in-depth nosey!  :lipsrsealed:

Seen loads in dealer compounds waiting for the new plate. Also been at dealers when there was more than 1 person ordering them! Only ones i have seen have been demo models. Im guessing most people are waiting for 59 plate.

See a red 3 door nearly every day on my way to work and he's had it at least 2 month so reckon he works for a dealer. Seen a couple of white ones and a black one recently as well. They don't seem to stand out as much as the MKV did tough.

See a black mk6 GTi in southampton every morning going the opposite way, and also My friend of a salesman at Peter coopers hedge End has adopted his Candy white dealer demo car as he daily/private runner :smiley:
