even if its remapped?

read very carefully as i'll type this only once more

dump valves on a TDI are a COMPLETE WASTE OF TIME

What would you spend?? £200 on an R-Tech remap to make your car go faster or £200 on a useless piece of crap which makes a stupid noise and has NO PERFORMANCE BENEFITS?

its the way the system works.  Diesels are electronic and vaccum controlled

not sure on the ins and outs but please do not waste your money

some info i found

A dump valve isn't used on a diesel because unlike a petrol engine there is no throttle butterfly. In a petrol engine when you shut the throttle the dump valve prevents excess pressure build up. The turbo diesel works by adjusting the pitch of the turbine blades.

Hope that clears things up
