so1o the engine the lad used was a 110 bhp tdi he tuned it in his own garage. im tryin to get in contact with him to get some info about the engine but he is proven to b a hard man to get hold of. i know for fact that his golf beat an impreza wrx from a standing start golf 1 impreza o

I drove a 2.0 turbo diesel Astra SRi yesterday, and was surprised by it's performance. This got me thinking about the 150bhp dub lump in a Mk2 - think that would be pretty impressive - more poke than my valver and about 50mpg
A guy on my course works on a race tuned 1.9TDi caddy (think it's for the works team, although they may privateers) - reckoned they were getting around 200bhp and 330lb/ft.. That much torque would be insane

yea they would obtain that amount of torque n e how if they where runing 200bhp its the same as the skoda vrs tune them to 200 bhp and they pump out 330 ft of torque
