Always thought the pointy top of the filter for want of a better way of putting it would be facing away from MAF :undecided:

That's exactly what I thought, so that's the way I fitted it to start with, but me & my mate were looking at his R32 BMC one day, & that looked like it was 'reversed' inside, so I thought I'd try it with mine.  It seemed to pull more sharply & 'cleaner' with the 'small' end facing the MAF, so I've left it that way for now.  :afro:

Will try mine the opposite way then as well I think

Very interested to see your rr session tomorrow as well.........

working? i believe the appropriate term is "loitering"

There are 2 ED30's coming down at 9am.. so aim for then if you want to watch/get in the queue, or 10am-ish if you want to be on/off as quick as poss

How'd you get on Ivor?????

I dunno.......................  I had that many power runs trying different map tweeks, I forgot what had happened, lol!!  :D

I think on average, it made circa 200 bhp at the wheels, which was more than the 2 stock Ed. 30's that ran.  8)

I was down a bit on torque compared to the R-Tech RR day in March at Graham's X-Power place, but I've now deffo developed a boost leak somewhere...........................  GREAT!!   :D

Anybody got a smoke test kit!!

I think you had 9 runs in total, never seen the dyno so busy.. even on a saturday!

Smoke machine will be on it's way! Just need the mac tools man to get a better price.

Something i forgot to mention yesterday - which you probably already know, but just in case.. make sure your battery is disconnected when you go investigating that ignitor ring :afro:

..and dont worry i've seen worse mounts than that  the diesel posse seem to know something i don't about getting cheap THS performance mounts.. worth looking in to
