Expensive but im pretty sure if you increase the compression or decide on a bigger stroke then you will have some torque gains, and the turning power will beef up but after all that... just buy yourself a vr6 lump and fit it or have it fitted???

You cant increase the stroke, only the bore by means of a rebore and new pistons.

No because the pistons we used were shorter to allow the longer stoke, the block had to modified as well for clearance, was a awesome engine however so much torque.

Fit a good four branch manifold(no not one off ebay)and you will gain torque,bhp drivability, and it will pretty much erradicate the flat spots.

Yes its all about gas flow, more gas in and more gas out.

that looses torque at the bottom end!

That depends on the cam choice, and headwork done.

I got a 25 BHP gain out of my head and cam set-up...with a gain it torque everywhere.

If you are careful about selecting cams and setting them up, you'll not always loose torque.
