what is worn? cause at the mot they only replaced the top mounts.

scott

It is the top mounts that have failed again or have not been put together correctly.

They are not normal, whether lowered or not.
They are worn out, and need to be replaced.

Mine and alot of other people here have that happening with lowering.

Does it creak and knock when turning?

This tends to happen when poor quality mounts are used.
The rubber goes out of shape.
They should be replaced when they look like that.
Here is what they should look like:-

If new mounts have been recently fitted then they are poor quality items.

Hard to say, but it is possible.
The only way to tell is to jack the car up, grap the spring and see if there is any 'give'

just go it back, guy said top mounts are fine, although he took them off and replaced them anyway, needed new brake pads as one had split and was stuck to disc
