its your 'tone' if there is such a thing on a text based forum.  you come across rude with posts like that.  people are only asking as they wish to know the answer to a question, they certainly don't want to be lectured in the process!!

I tend to agree,if it says top up with 502 in the handbook how could they then say you should have used 504 and if its only topping up there is no way they could tell unless they drained off all the oil and sent it off for analysis

I think TT meant the 504 is a better oil. Not that you shouldnt use it.

Exactly :afro: :afro: :afro: :afro: :afro: :afro: :afro: :afro: :afro: :afro: :afro: :afro:

Gold star for Kev!

i agree with you kev - TT is mr helpful according to some posters but is actually pretty rude in some cases.  don't bother responding TT as i'm not looking for an argument, i'm just saying you should maybe tone it down a bit and stop with the god complex.

Huh - I suppose you don't respect your doctor, or nurse or the police or whoever too.

I am NOT the one posting unfounded and unsubstanciated rubbish!  No one, not even me is gonna bite anyones head off if a newbie makes a post which is genuinely, but honestly 'not quite correct' - but when someone keeps on repeatedly posting drivel, even when advised/warned by other posters - then to be utterly frank, you can't complain if a long-established member of the forum appears to be rude.

But if/when you actually get to know me, you will probably come to accept that my 'frankness' actually gets results, and will actually be very helpful.  But if don't appreciate high quality and reliable independent advice, and for free - then this place is probably not for you.

HAND and all that.

you don't have the qualifications a doctor or nurse have. and no i don't respect the police, in my experience they are only after a quick easy buck off joe public.

i haven't posted anything unfounded or unsustanciated. and just cause you're long established doesn't mean you're right all the time.

you're a real hero.

Double standards here, If I talked to people like that I would be bringing down the tone of the board, or lowering the atmosphere of the mk6 section and things like 'this is not a good section to visit'.... Anyone else, then they are 'just helping out' and we should listen to them.

  a f**kin joke to be honest.

lol but TT knows what he is talking about. I do slightly / pretty much agree with you though lol :D :D
