When I type in my 2 initials to get a 'AB 12' style plate, newreg list they have about 20 plates.  In reality they don't have any of them - and if I clicked BUY, they'd send an email to the owner offering them cash for it! 

At least the auction plates are actually for sale!

Ah so thats how new egg are working. Looks like my misses aint getting her plate then.

Yeah... and then if you actually own a nice "12 AB" style dateless plate, you'll probably get through stupid offers for it all the time!

the next change, from 59 to 60 allows a plate MY60LFR or similar. I drive a company car so aint going to indulge...

I nearly got VW59OLF but someone got there only minutes before me.

A lot of people seem to use private plates to try and hide the age of there car. A couple of people i work with have done this, they seem upset when i told them the age and even the date there car was first registered.
You have to love the new car tax website  :grin:

I Have Registration No    MY59 GTD for sale if anyones interested. I Have the Certificate of entitlement from DVLA and as not yet been assigned to any Vehicle. Has been Valued at £1200.00 by 2 Reg plate dealers. Was going to put it on my New GTD Golf ordered back in Sept 09,But for unknown VW delay Reasons it will now not be Delivered untill March 2010 or maybe later  :cry:so it will be a 10 plate.

If You have your New 59 plate GTD Would Look Great  :smiley:   MY 59 GTD

Open to Sensible Offers. :smiley: :smiley:

I've just spent 40 odd minutes looking at private plates, there are some real bargains to be had out there found this one "M999 AGD" AGD being my initials, M999 meaning nothing but looks pretty cool lol for £244 with all taxes etc.
