Valued at £1200?!
I bet you bought it for £245.
Not really my cup of tea... but you'll maybe find someone.

Sounds like a bit of a scam, that was his 1st post . . . . . . :undecided:

It is No Scam!!
Just Thought i would offer it to a Golf Enthuisiast with a new GTD at a sensible price before i take up there offer, because they would no doubt bump up the price. and i did not pay £245.00 for it either a lot more than that.

You can get pretty much any MY** GTD or VW** GTD plate for £612 on newreg.com

Why you would want to spend even £600 on a plate that you'll have to leave on the car and get no extra back for is beyond me!

R2 GTD - £143... thats more like it!!!
Golf R... 3 door, DSG, Leather, Reflex Silver, Black 19" Talladega Wheels, ACC, Parking Sensors, RNS510 with Dynaudio, Reverse Camera, Luxury Pack, Cruise Control & Fiscon Bluetooth.

I've just spent 40 odd minutes looking at private plates, there are some real bargains to be had out there found this one "M999 AGD" AGD being my initials, M999 meaning nothing but looks pretty cool lol for £244 with all taxes etc.
nobody would realise it's a private plate.  I think you have to have two numbers after the year/letter at most.

true.  But you can get M _ _ XXX (ie 2 numbers) for £250.  I've got J90 SCH and it was £250.  I used to have B19 SCH but left it on a mk3 VR6 when I bought the A reg mk1.  So stupid.
