Speaker setup advice
« on: 29 August 2004, 22:29 »
hi all

I've got a pioneer stereo and would like to add a couple more speakers and tweeters to it. the new speakers are 4" and 10w power.

currently i've got 4" front speakers and 6x9's in the parcel shelf. I just don't know whether i need an amp or not and if not how do i wire it? the current speakers i've got arent' that powerful they are only 15w in the front and 20w in the back.

have a nice day

sv

which Pioneer stereo? What is the RMS output? What car is it that you've got 10cm front speakers?

Are your current speaker power levels that you're quoting the nominal RMS power vallues?
