Camber, camber shims, and all that
« on: 15 July 2009, 23:50 »
I know what camber is, but i dont know how is set, the parts involved etc.

Im having my rear arches rolled, then im thinking about going down on the front, and getting the rear having a little bit of camber.

I know this will do the tyre wear in uneven, but i dont mind.

But how do i go about this? Ive heard the words "camber shims" dont know what they are though.

What can i do?

front, under the two bolts holding the hub to the coilover, push the hubs in and up as much as possible and do the bolts back up. you will see what i mean by in and up when you do it. gives you a fair amount of camber on the fronts, but beware the tyre wear lol! :D
