As an auto electrician I woulnt reccomend a complete novice to do this but anyway take a live feed from the dip beam either at the headlight or under the dash (reccomended) to the fog light switch then to relay, other side of relay to earth (look at relay wiring diagram). Ignition feed to relay preferably from a spare fuse in the fusebox and other side to fog lamps, other side of fog light bulb to earth. Repeat if you are not confident leave it to the profesionals as you could cause a fire plus we need to earn a crust too.

Should be actually on the relay a little coil of wire is the activator the fog switch one side the other to earth. and a pair of contacts one to live feed at fuse box other to fog lamps. Hope that helps.

Could just go to a scrapyard, find a headlight loom for a Mk3 with fogs, and swap it with yours.

It will be the whole loom that connects into the round connector block attatched to the slam panel.

There will be 2x plugs for the headlights, 2x plugs for the indicators, 2x plugs for the fog lights, and also plugs for the horn

Or is that too easy
