Cheers all, pretty even have it now/wait

I think I am going to wait (forgot to say earlier I am away for two weeks in august too). Then again I might change my mind in a day or so and ring the dealer back.

Either way really looking forward to it....

Mine will be September or October.  If they offered it to me early I'd bite their hand off.

But everybody's situation is different.

You have to get it now, September has to be the worst month to get a car, especially front wheel drive. The summer's over and you'll be waiting 7 or 8 months until the roads are dry again and you can actually go faster than a 1.2l corsa. Plus a 59 plate is uglier than an 09 in my opinion.

I have a plan..... Wait till 59 plate, now hear me out.....

Go everyday to the dealer, sit in the drivers seat but don't start her up, just take in the beauty of the car, then loose it for 5 mins ! make vroom noises with your lips and screetching sounds as you bounce up and down on the seat tearing the steering wheel from left to right at  break neck speed. Then slowly relax, open the door and quietly walk out the garage back to your every day life.

30 days will pass by in an instant.

take delivery early and enjoy it

had to sound morbid but you could be in accident, drop dead etc etc and have never driven the car

you only live once - make the most of it

Got home from work tonight to find a message from dealer stating that my car ordered 23rd May has been built and will be shipping in the next 2 weeks!!!  I spouted on somewhere earlier that I would wait until September reg  but now that I've been told I should have my car by end of the month at the latest I can't wait and I want it as soon as. How cool is that? brand new black gti running around on the summer roads very soon
