8v gti still cutting and heasiting out changed the hall sender cleaned the throttle body. put new plugs on am pissed off with it now. its getting worse. cheers chez

Checked the dizzy cap for cracks? Also rotor arm.

Temputure control valve, 21 pound euro part, only a two min job mine was the same mate, its a dream now apart from the cam belt going and doing four valves lol should be fixed by weekend fingers crossed

i had a similar problem with mine my timing was way out and wouldnt rev past 5000 the mark on my bottom pulley is out when its aligned if you get what i mean so timed it up by the mark on the flywheel now its the best its ever been no hesitating or cutting out may be the same problem with yours you never know it may be worth checking
