I think VW will have alot of money and very good PR to get what has been said in the papers about the MK6 GTI wrote.
You cant beat getting in one and driving it then realising "actually its not better than the MK5, its a bit too big around the front and doesnt really suit the lines of the body, the sirrocco looks better and is cheaper and in general the majority of car enthusiast's mags prefer the MK5 where as the lying sun reporters (have no time for the paper since Hillsborough) want to 'BUM' VW. - my opinion after a test drive of one.
I think newspapers can be easily swayed when writing reviews.
For the record the MK6 is a great car but not as well priced as it should be.
