central locking problem
« on: 20 June 2009, 20:13 »
key rotates 'loosly' in drivers door lock - will not activate central locking
key turns lock in passenger door but will not activate central locking (it did do once apparently according to the mrs)
once rear door pins are pulled up to unlock them they reactivate the c/l pump and re-lock themselves

what to check, what to change etc pls?

Try another door handle, it might have worn on the end.

mk3 central locing is multipoint so can be activated from both front doors
it relocks itself be cause the microswitch in each door that controls the pump is not being activated when just pulling up a pin
guy if i have time on monday after fitting your alarm and stereo i will have a look at it for you
