good on ya for affording a 22k car at 19, but it makes me wonder.......what you bothered about paying 5k on insurance for? shelling out 22k at 19yo on a brand new car?

Especially when the world is about to go pop financially!

Not exactly.... I work in the oil industry and consulting industry... The financial world is only going pop to those who either live beyond their means (Possibly a case for Das Auto) or those who unfortunately unable to keep a business running.

The rest of us are still doing perfectly fine. Even here in third world countries.

Mike

Well, agree with that. My Father In Law is in that game (Kzstn). I saw a documentry about how the oil has caused misery for millions of local fishermen in Africa (Nigeria) and I am disgusted by the way the locals are treated. Death money in my opinion.

              :lipsrsealed:

I appreciate all the generations of Golf.  As long as it's a mk5.

Mike

just mis-quoting you Mike

lol!

Thats not fair.

I will stand up for a MK5 because it is the car that not only bought me into the world of GTI's etc but also to this forum. Ironically though I dont praise it completely. I spend more time on BMW and Seat forums then I do on here.

I dont feel I'm biased towards the MK5. Perhaps towards the MK5 community. But not the car.

funny how when a dedicated site came you post count STOPPPPED

awaits anther pearler

lol. Let me tell you why. Cos as said above. Im biased towards the community and unfortunately the community left and so did I. I do still occassionaly pop in and comment. But I mostly just browse in the MK2, MK4 and MK5 section. Another reason is I moved on. When I was most active I was still in school. I had the time to waste. Now I am working 7am till 9pm and I am involved on Seat, BMW, VW and even Subaru forums because my job calls for it. I dont have the time to come here and post. You will see whenever I am here its on the weekends.

Dont just make assumptions

We are a oil supplier. We sell from the major manufacturers. In other words we are a distributor. We sell Liqui Moly, Shell, Caltex, Rocol and a variety of other oils, greases, additives and service products. We do not produce oils ourselves and are in no way connected to Nigeria.
