How can I tell if my GL TDi has a 90 or 110 BHP engine just by looking at it?

On the cambelt cover should be a sticker with the engine code.

the highest power mk3 tdi for the uk was 90bhp..

All UK Late TDI engines are 90bhp (or less) The only 110 was in the euro spec GT-TDI and other euro models.

yours will almost definatly be 90hp. although it doesnt take much to get it to 110!
