car advice
« on: 13 June 2009, 21:00 »
Lil sis needs a car. Older sis inherited my mk4 fezza which I've spent more money on than I care to remember.

Need a cheap but economical car to run. I'd be driving it too for a few months.

Given I've got a mk5, was thinking about polos, lupos and foxes but TBH budget is gonna be strained with my insurance hike (up from £700 to £3000 because I've moved back home - high risk area).

Looking at £1.5 - 2k ideally, given it'd take another £2k to insure the bloody thing. What do you recommend?

Anything I should look for in the VW category? The more modern the better.

Polo or Lupo would be a good choice, if not maybe a mk4 Golf 1.4

Has lil sis got an age or years driving? Lupo could be on the cards.

polo, great first car. not the cheapest to ensure as new parts can be pricey but damn good.
Wouldn't be fun if it was easy, but does it have to be this much fun?
