head lining!

hi all, will a mk2 golf head lining be able to be fitted in a mk1? i no some chopping will be needed but has anyne done this or no if it can be done?

end of the day its only material rite?

possibly but it'll take a lot of hacking! main issue is the mk1 is held up with wire hoops, wheras mk2 is help up with plastic clips thru the panel and all the ahndles and rubber seals etc.

buy  a new 1 from newton comercial there only £75 and it comes with instructons i done mine 2 weeks ago its not that hard :grin:

looked at the mk2 head linning today for my mk1, cant see why it would be that dificult to put in?!
