Of course i can when VW wont put a 3.2 V6 lump in it. Thats the very reason i can 'shoot it down' as you say. The mk6 looks lovely and is definitely a grower (liking it more and more) so im highly frustrated (as are about 90% of mk5 R32 owners) that there wont be a proper R version of it.
Two reasons i bought the R32 over the GTI and thats 4wd and noise, i think the OP's video of that mk6 sounds rubbish (imo which im more than entitled to voice on a public forum) and its highly disappointing!

I think it's more to do with the fact he has the old Golf now.

Why would I be jealous of an R32 owner when they stay with mommy and daddy?   Heck my wedding cost more than a brand new R32 - that was all over in a day. If I wanted an R32 I could also go out an get finance on one no probs    

So stop waving your "My engine's bigger than yours" card around, stfu and appreciate the new Golf for what it is.
