People like that know they have a pile of poo and probly no chance of selling it! this is why they have to lie to get a sale!
I've got mucked around beyond belief, even by my closet so called mates! just makes you more cautious!
Don't give up, theres lots of nice motors out there and I know it should be enjoyable searching for your new car but sometimes it can be pi$$ taking and stressfull! all I can say is gooood things come to those who wait. :smiley:

I've been there mate. Took me ages to mind my MK5 GTI. Even some of the stuff at the main dealers is absolute tat. It's worth waiting though because there are plenty of well looked after ones about it's just that they get snapped up quickly.

By the way, i've got the elec folding mirrors and they are probably not worth it. They don't fold in very far at all so don't really see the point! Auto dipping passenger door mirror is useful though, has saved me from a curbed alloy more than once........
