i brought this about 18 months ago paid £100 from bargin pages with 4 months tax and test with a blown engine.replaced engine put a set of coilovers on and the 17s and drove for a year till the engine went.so now i have started it as a project,i am putting a 2.0 agg engine in with a beetle/golf gti crossflow head running twin 40s.weekend just gone me and a few mates stripped the front and subframe from under it and am starting to clean up bay thursday.i have'nt got money to burn so its gona be a long term project over a few months maybe years but hope not.lol
will ad more pics thursday nite as working on it all day.

well as i said spent all day jet washing and scraping the wax,oil and years of dirt off the engine bay used so gunk in a 5 litre tub from local car spares and it was great.apply with  a brush and leave for a few mins and wash off saved loads of time.this is how it looks now.

drivers side is the best with little work needed heres a pic.

passanger side not as bad as thort but some rust

sitting on a mk3 subframe i had lying around so i can revap mine some welding need by the battery tray

i may cut a part for under battery tray from out of the car i am breaking up if any better more stuff will be added sunday
