Hi

The bracket has snapped on my ill fitting induction kit and has in turn broken a sensor.

Engine warning light has gone yellow so i'd like to replace the part, I think it's the cam timing sensor but not sure.

Can anyone assist? thanks in advance

Dean

what make intake is that as the diameter at the MAF area looks larger than stock and this can lead to the car running too lean.

The intake is made by HPS, car has run fine with it on for over 8k miles and sounds great.

Just a shame the fitment is crap, I'm probably going to have to go back to the original airbox unless I can make a new bracket.

That a fking massive intake

What happened inside your bonnet? In the last pic it looks like a mud bomb has exploded inside your engine bay.

You know anyone that has VAGCOM? That will tell you what the problem is if the engine management light has come on.

It's just water and mud from driving through big puddles!

I don't really need a VAGCom because i can see which sensor it has broken (the filter pipe is resting on top of the broken sensor and snapped the cables off the top.

The filter pipe should sit higher but the bracket that holds it up was crap and broke

If ETKA was working on my laptop I'd tell you in 5 minutes :(

Is there not a visible part number on it?
