Taken from the sales pages which I would take with a pinch of salt:

Replacing the factory air box, this Carbon Speed CAI kit gives a typical increase in torque of over 10% with an airflow increase of approximately 50% over the factory system.

Thats for a Carbon Speed intake which does a similar job.

In a layman's term: more air = more combustion = more power

Had mine fitted for a few days now and it sounds like Darth Vader on acid. The turbo chatter on overrun is great. Not sure if it will wear thin with the wife though :grin:

Here you are. Turn it up as the intake is nearly drowning out the wastegate turbo flutter. :laugh:

Only had mine on a week but gonna have to take it off. Find it a little too loud, plus my girlfriend has noticed it and started moaning at me (shock!!)

What are the carbon speed kits like noise wise?
