Taken from the sales pages which I would take with a pinch of salt:

Replacing the factory air box, this Carbon Speed CAI kit gives a typical increase in torque of over 10% with an airflow increase of approximately 50% over the factory system.

Thats for a Carbon Speed intake which does a similar job.

In a layman's term: more air = more combustion = more power

Had mine fitted for a few days now and it sounds like Darth Vader on acid. The turbo chatter on overrun is great. Not sure if it will wear thin with the wife though

Only had mine on a week but gonna have to take it off. Find it a little too loud, plus my girlfriend has noticed it and started moaning at me (shock!!)

What are the carbon speed kits like noise wise?
