heat soak doesnt worry me as can make a stainless cover for it at work
just miss the sound of an induction kit after listening to a 306hdi knocking for 18 months
first golf and loving it

Drilled boxes are loud aswell but for grunt there is not substitute for an induction.



Only if that induction set up is shielded from heat and has suitable cold air intakes.

As khere said get some sort of cold air feed ducting.
People tend to stick with K&N 57i cones. Not fancy a BMC?

They are ok, not sure if they give the same "roar" as the other alternatives. Most people rate Pipercross as the best.
