1 x FIA Battery cut off switch

Don't forget the ballast resistor, or you'll fry the alternator.  Handy diagram here:

http://www.reedx.net/landrover/mods/batterycutoff/

1 x 24" CB Antenna
1 x panel mount for above to go in the center of the roof.

Something something priorities....

The one I've ordered comes with the ballast resistor.

The CB antenna and mount is required as the original BTCC car had one and I needed it to figure out how big and where to drill the whole before we paint it. They only cost £12 in total so hardly breaking the bank.

If you're free one sunday pop over mate, would be good to catch up and you can see it in the flesh.

So the cut off switch arrived today and included a brochure from JJC Race and Rally. Now having dirty thoughts about a plumbed in FE system.

I've been offered a drive in an MX5 endurance race in a MEV Exocet (http://www.mevltd.co.uk/exocet_gallery.htm). Very tempting, just need to do an ARDS test. If I do that I might be tempted to run the Golf in a round of the Historic Touring Car next year if I can get it to an eligible state and built to the blue book. Hummmmmm, think the next few weeks will involve lots of regulation reading.

If I look north from home it's either very cloudy over Basingstoke, or there's a black hole forming in Nick's bank account.
