Yeah not sure. Kinda having 2nd thoughts about it at the moment. Nothing to do with how it'll look but more the fact that with it parked on the street outside the flat I might as well write "Steal Me" in big letters all over it.

I'm now considering leaving the paint job until I'm settled in new employment and I can rent a garage/lockup to keep it in.

While trying to get to sleep last night it occured to me that I haven't heard the fan run on the golf in a while and I now suspect that this could be the cuase of my slightly higher than they used to be Oil Temps. Can't believe I didn't think to check this before.

Got a mad hectic weekend and also on holiday for 7 days in devon before Springfest but I'll have to find some time to run it up to temp and see what's happening. If the fan works but it's not cutting in I suspect hard wiring to a switch on the dash will be the order of the day until after Springfest and I have the time to fix it properly. If the fan's dead I'm not entirely sure what I'll do. Thank gawd the clocks are changing and the nights are getting lighter!

Also got a blow in the exhaust to sort as well. Gotta love old cars!

What's £50 when you're blowing a load of cash on a cage, eh?

If the fan is dead then thats certainly the direction I'll take. If it's just the switching then I'll fix it for the time being.

Windows collected (cheers Jon) and OMP rear strutbrace ordered. Hopefully the rest of the windows will turn up this week.

Rear strut brace has arrived, guess what I'll be doing when I get home?

The rest of my windows look like they'll be being delivered while I'm on hols so hopefully I'll manage to get the time to get them in before Springfest.

Mounting it and putting your harness straps around it?

Yup, I've also bought a new centre cap for my steering wheel, it's a huge OMP branded spike, you'll love it!
