What through the door frame into the window? Will have to look once I've got them in my grubby mits.

Bonnet swapped - It's a different shade of white, pants. Looks like it'll get the rattle can treatment when the weather warms up but at least this one is not full of pikey footprints. Also didn't realise the late and early bonnets are different so my washer jets don't fit. Hopefully the guy I got the bonnet off still has them!

Dash bulbs replaced - Can now see how fast I'm going in the dark, yay!

Oil Pressure Gauge backlight spliced into loom.

Bonnet pins fitted.

Carbon wrap bonnet or go home.

Of course, it's more weight though.
Golf MK3 1.8 auto and I didn't pay a grand for the "priveledge", auto windows all round and a AC. Oh and I've got a luggage net you pricks!

Does that make my willy look bigger?

Oh yeah it's called Helda or something....

It'll get replaced with a fibreglass one in the future anyway, carbon wrap is for gays.

Harnesses now fitted and adjusted. They feel great but will try them out on the road tomorrow. THe only 2 jobs left to do are tweak the timing and change the outer CV joint, both of which are jobs for tomorrow as I'm soaked through, tired and it's getting dark!

Well, the car isn't here right now, but IIRC the screws go through the polycarb into the clip-on seal.

carbon wrap is for gays.

Correct.

Harnesses now fitted and adjusted.

I have The Fear on me in expectation of the photos of this modification.....

Ooooh 2" for special bone-snapping prowess, too.

Let me guess 4-point, too?

Bad unsafeness.  Disappointed.

Yup 4 point, seat only takes 4 point belts anyway.

Unsafeness is a bit unfair as the set up is TUV worthy etc and better than the 25 year old 3 point belt that was in there. I won't argue that it's not AS safe as 3" 5 point harnesses though and that is a future upgrade when I can afford the seat and harnesses  that go together.

Zee new tool box:

A bargain £12 from B&Q. Has a pull out handle so you can pull it along. Ideal for lugging my tools from the flat to the car and also should be handy for lugging stuff about on trackdays.
