Plate goes the other way up, you goon

(and should be welded in, too)
Just because you're offended doesn't make you right.

Holiday cottages on the Isle of Wight for 2-10 people? PM me.

Yeah I know it goes the other way but it wouldn't have stood up for the photo

They can be welded, but don't have to be and as I don't have a welder or any kind of welding skill it won't be for the short term.

I just put a rivet through the hole to secure them in place and then tightened up the eye bolts until nothing was going to move.  I might get round to welding them at some point but there does not seem to be much point as the eye bolts hold them very securely.  The blue book does not state that they have to be welded in place so I am happy to leave them.

Kinda on hold as I'm in the process of sorting some Polycarb windows. With those fitted the winders won't be needed so I'll end up with pointless holes in them. Thought I'd leave doing them till the polycarbs are in.

lots of goodies!!

are you gutting the doors then? could cut off the mirror adjuster and just push the mirror, and use the bit the handle pushes down on to open the door. Then the whole inside frame could be cut out

Nail and head

Just need to look up how folks fit the door windows without the runners and winder mech.

Instead of cutting off the mirror adjsuter why not get the mirror off a Golf C..?

They dont come with any cables in them, or adjusters or anything.. saves weight, mounts up fine.. and adjsutable only by hand.. budget both on money and weight
