But for the purest engine experience, displacement has no replacement. All other methods are simply attempts to artificially recreate the benefits of displacement.

Some quality advisories:

*No rear seats fitted
*No rear seatbelts fitted
*Exhaust loud
*Windscreen sticker causing slight obstruction
*Oil leak (Best fix that this weekend!)

I also got an an advisory on perished front wishbone bushes which is weird as they're poly. Do poly ones crack but carry on performing as usual? They said they were having no negative effect but were looking perished.

does your wiper pass over the sunstrip? my mate had to make a short wiper arm for mot's because of his sunstrip

i would have thought poly bushes last forever

The wiper goes about 3 inches into the sunstrip ha ha ha. I think they let it through cause they're nice. Going by the book it's a fail big time. MOT regs say no more than 10mm.

That's what I thought about polybushes as well but I guess lasting forever and "Looking" worn are different. They may look worn yet be fine, they did say on the phone there was zero play in them even when they really ragged the wheel about.

No not at all, as I've already found out.

They're harder, stiffer, so can quite easily crack and split.  Can't WAIT to get my n/s lower link off to find out WTF is going on with the rear one on mine

One of mine was damaged by some bloody German on the way into the wishbone, but even so they won't last forever and probably not nearly as long as the OEM bushes.

If it hadn't worn then it wouldn't have started clunking progressively more now, would it?
