The white writing on the tyres will quite obviously increase lap times and damage the handling as it's an increase in unsprung weight.

Looks like I've also scored a free MKII GTI seat to butcher for subframe making purposes.

Much as I realise having it fixed to the floor is a better option I share the driving at Trackdays with my dear old papa and he has shorter legs than me so having the seat moveable is required.

Makes sense.  Just make sure it's fitted up right and that the seatbelt works properly in it.

Come round, you need to collect the poly anyway, as I've got a Mk2 2 mount on the bottom of a spare seat in the garage, i can also show you what we did to mine to make it attach to the floor and still be adjustable.  (Helena is less than 5" and I am over 6" and we both fit!)

Aye aye cappen. Initially just going to be used on the road with the standard belt but will be getting a harness bar and captive nuts welded in before the next track session.
