are there any advantages of getting a mac book pro? or is it just a bigger screen more memory etc?

as i just got the confirmation email and where im going to be gettign it on finace if they done recive the finace agreement within 30 days they cancel the order or if for what ever reason i wanted to place a new order i can and the other one gets cancelled after 30 days as it woudl have a new oredr ref to quote to set the finace up on that order

would it be woth the extra coupel of hundred quid to get a mac book pro?

Nah I've given up on sigs now :P

Of course mate, I'm got one to do for vw_sarah but haven't go round to doing it for her yet, I got 4 weeks left Uni, once I've done it'll I'll be able to focus on sigs and getting this MK3 sticker done lol!

Not for what you'll be using it for stink, tbh it's for hardcore designers and video editors more than anything, as I said you can upgrade the ram yourself for a fraction of the cost.

Well the ram compartment is under the battery which you can remove, some tiny ass screws so you need a REALLY small philips head, but once you got one, pop out the old ram (2x1GB sticks) and put in the new (2x2GB sticks). It'll just make everything run faster, especially Photoshop. For you it's more than adequate enough.

Like Shady mentions, the ram is dead easy to replace. Future proofs the thing for a while longer too.
Good on ya for getting one, streets ahead of mr windows.

And yes Adam you should get one!
