Have you connected the car to VAGCOM (VCDS)? That would give you an indication as to what the problem is..

ok,found a cover to remove and got someone to turn engine over,camshaft is turning so the cam belt is not snapped :)
...............one bit of good news. :wink:

Very good news thats your cam belt is OK, my car is the same age and mileage and I was starting to worry!

VCDS is your best bet to getting it solved, other than that, have you checked if its getting spark and fuel?

Got collected today and away to dealer,they reckon it's had some sort of power surge,ecu is fried and the coil packs,replaced them but it keeps blowing fuses so they will have it a few days :(

new ECU is approx £700  :shocked: :shocked:
