looks good to me..but why get 5 litres of universal anti freeze (when you can get 2 litre of vw spec stuff for less?) and you only need about 2 litre of gear oil

Hiya..I've bought all of these items in the last couple of years,  Unless your really having to scrape the barrel financially these items aren't overly expensive at your local VW main dealer,

I always go for the VW Quantum synta silver engine oil, i think i paid £17.00 for five litres last time and you know it's good stuff!
Oil filter was about £5.00, the sump bolt about the same and sealing washers are pence each.
Again the antifreeze and gearbox oil i bought from VW and really it wasn't that expensive as i remember..and again your getting quality parts.

If you need the likes of new brake discs, pads or any other larger type machined items then yes it makes sense to look at gsf parts..

Hehe..yep you might call them stealers with regards to many and particular parts but general service items are reasonable i've found, and your getting the best quality,

t.b.h the filter listed is made by mann and hummel (vw's o.e supplier) and the oil is castrol but rebranded.... as long as you get quality known brands you'll have no issues...

oh yeah golf is now sold and passat is here!!
