CD changer - or not
« on: 03 August 2004, 08:51 »
My girlfriend has just bought a 2001 Polo match - nice little car.
On the stereo, you can select a function 'cd auto changer' or just put in a single CD. When you select the changer, you get a display message "no cd in changer".
The odd thing is, we cant find a cd autochanger in the car. maybe it doesnt have one ? but then why does it say no cd in changer, i would have expected if no changer, then not be selectable on the unit.

Cheers for any help :)

There should be one in the car somewhere try the boot, under the front seats.  If not it might be that the lead is plugged into the head unit but someone has removed the changer.
