Nice one - thanks for the info :)
The thought of an ED30 had crossed my mind, but tbh, Wifey is looking to change her 306gti6 for a Golf mk4 GTI (diesel) later this year. So I'd rather get a "cheaper" GTI and mk4, rather than overspend on just my car :)

Besides, I'm in no hurry - need to sell my S4 first!!

Dan :)

Just keep an eye on the official vw web site and get on the dealers backs if something new comes in local to you, im sure they'd take your s4 off your hands for you.

yeh tbh the p/ex offers so far is almost to the point of not worth p/exing the Audi!!

Someone will want it - it's a specialist car, therefore I sense a bit of a wait. Like I said though, I'm in no hurry ;)

Dan

Was going to say - have you claybar'd the car? If not, get one - well worth it :)

I'm scared of the clay :D

Just purchased some new wax (Dodo Juice stuff) for a weekend of detailing

Wheels are coming off, and will get sealed :)

I got mine from Meguires. Using a clay bar (mouldable putty) with some lubricant (supplied) - you can just use water (as long as the clay stays wet - if it gets dry, you end up damaging the paint) - you can get the impurities out of the lacquer.

Worked with GREAT effect on the Wife's GTi6 and my car.... you can feel the difference... then start building back up the layers of wax :)

Nice car but I hope you don't park that close to the kerb all the time

Good job you only have 17's.

Trust me, not once have i kerbed an alloy, lol, automatic mirrors come in very handy... Just out of curiosity, how's the ride with 18's? Gotta be said, the 17's are a doddle to clean and with my bumpy ride to work probably the more comfortable option...

I've now tried both 17s & 18s..... not much in it tbh :)
yeh 18s were slightly harder ride - not by much though.

Out of preference, I'll be going for 18s, but I won't be too upset either way!!LOL!!
