NOTE: If your exhaust is scratch-free, just stick with the autosol + MF cloth. Mine was so thoroughly choked up, I had to use all ten steps to clean it.

The exhaust, like the wheels, is something I do seperately to the rest of my detailing as it's a lot of work involved. I last had to use the 10-step method back in Feb, after four months of no detailing. When I detailed the car a coupla weeks ago, I just used wirewool on the inside of the tips rather than the outside.

I think I just need the wirewool and polish for now. Is not caked etc, and is pretty clean (I sometimes wipe the exhausts with a tissue after each drive!!) lol.
Just a few little bits of black stuff i wanted to get off and keep off!

I thought you did those 10 steps every clean  :shocked:

If you regularly clean your car you shouldnt have to do much at all. I waxed my door and boot shuts today and gave her a quick detail, jetsealed the wheels and massaged some leather conditioner in the seats  :cool:

Lol. Doesn't take 10 days but I do have to break it down as there's nowhere near enough daylight to get it all done on one day.

I do the exhaust on one day
I do the interior + sills/shuts on another day (may or may not be with the exhaust).
I do the wheels on another day.
I do the car over 1-2 days depending on daylight and whether I need to polish as well.
