Yeah i had a look at that and worked out they would be about £990   working out the exchange rate based on the price of a standard car compared to the UK in GBP. I then compared the price of a couple of other options such as the alloys which are half the price of Xenon's and they worked out over £100 cheaper in the UK by the same comparisson to the Euro so i still think they will be about £800 here. I will be amazed if they can charge any more than than that!!!!

Just been having a hunt through the VW site and it looks like Bi-xenon lights with curve lighting which is what the GTI is getting, is £850 on the Passat CC and £835 on the Tiguan so i reckon it will defo be under £900!

Curve lighting  oh the gimmicks... do they have some sort of super gravitational force just in front of the car to curve the light?

But for the purest engine experience, displacement has no replacement. All other methods are simply attempts to artificially recreate the benefits of displacement.

I think that's where the angle of the light changes as you go around a corner, to light up the inner edge more. My mum's Volvo has it and it's pretty sweet for country roads.

Golf GTI with completely redesigned bi-xenon headlights, including dynamic curve lighting. The headlights swivel through a steering radius of up to 13 degrees to the outside and seven degrees to the inside.

There £850 from SEAT so add VW 'prestige' price on top and i think the £900+ area talked about by everyone is prob about right.

Thats a disgrace at that price, but I'll still buy them  hopefully should get 10% off that though.

Was that from Deal Drivers? I called them up today to try and put my order in. They have put the price of their cars up a little from the website price though. The DSG 3 door is now 21,496 rather than 21,266. They dont have any garages in Scotland that will do that price though, they reckon i will need to get it form near Manchester or Yorkshire. They reckoned they could get one for late July. Did you manage to get any more info out of them if thats who you were dealing with???
