its easy enough just getting to the thing thats a pain cant remember exactly as havent done one for a little while but can remember the basics
1)take the mat out of the centre pocket on the top of ure dash.
2)there should be 2 screws undo them
3)pop the pocket out
4)facia will loosen that goes around the centre consol
5) im sure theres 2 screws located at the bottom of the centre consol also but onec you have released the top you will see how it comes out
6)feel where the facia dash panel is held they are held on with clips
from this stage the radio will be revealed and just unscrew the bolts that hold it in (obviouis at this stage) the whole unit will then come out.
as to replacing it with single din you will require a din pocket halfords £14.99 and a quadlock vw lead around £30 also an aerial amplifire £7.99 apart from that goes in how it came out
