help with vag com codes

how the devil do you get this to work?i put it in the laptop and it installs put doesnt seem to find it when i plug it in?its runin on vista am i missing anythin

have you changed the com port settings so the lead corresponds to the setting on vag com? and you have to run it as administrator to  :wink:

have you installed a virtual com port that vista needs to run the usb if not you have to tweak it it does work  :wink:

this is for xp but its pretty much the same as vista  :undecided:

done it think i got sum promblems which numbers are the fault codes? controller?component?coding?shop?

your fault codes will be highlighted in the box as a series of numbers etc
