it is a 5000wmonoblock putting out a very very strong 2000 wrms so i was running 1000 wrms per sub but as you can see they are 1500wrms each.  I ran the monoblock on 1ohm after bridging the subs.

was running this amp with them http://www.targa.co.za/products/amplifiers/tg-18d/tg-18d.php

this amp is amazing and can also be set in Parallel which i havnt seen on a lot of amps before.

you could run this amp with them

http://www.targa.co.za/products/amplifiers/tg-30d/tg-30d.php

i was getting int he mid 140 db's with the tg18d on these 2 subs but with the tg30 a friend was hitting mid 150's which for 2x12's is pretty dam good!  these subs can take an extreme punishing!

Yeah I've heard of massive. Not heard them in action though.

I'm on a bit of fusion tip at the moment.

Love fusion.

i was super impressed with them...very high sq!  had them amped up and they handled perfectly!  was fishing to see if anyone had a pair in their car in the uk.  Not had any experience with their subs or amps but they look nice lol.

Trying to get my hands on some DLS subs but again cant find any dealers here in the uk.  Or maybe some kicker L7's? anyone know of dealers?

Get youself on Talkaudio.co.uk

That'll be a good place to start.

Or give us model numbers of the kicker stuff & I'll get you a price from a friend of mine who works in a motorist shop.

the amps are actually the same as the ma audio hardcore series amps
the 55d is exactly the same as the ma audio hk4000d
http://ampguts.realmofexcursion.com/MA_HK4000D/outside1.jpg
i used to have 4 of them in my mk1 golf spl car and running them off 9 banks of 18 volt batteries the most power they ever gave was 3.5 k on a pair of DD9918's in superstreet 1-2 i was hitting 162 dB legal at the dash on the db drag termlab sensor
