Pretty hard to tell from my pics but mine aint no where near as bad as yours

mine dont stick out from the arches but the the wheel in the second image stick out about half an inch more

Does it have 2 matching VW front wings on it? Patten panels are not always as good.

tyres are all same, i dont no about the panels, i guess the part numbers are stamped inside?

thats a very good point! one of my wings have dodgy paint on it and i think its had a crunch at one point so maybe someone bodged a dodgy wing on it.

To check the wings. The wings are stamped vw, open up the front doors and on the back edge of the wing it should say vw. One of mine does and one doesnt.

Might be the camber on the wheel? My passenger side wheel looked to be sticking out once but it was just the camber needed adjusting.

If you can't do it yourself be careful about where you take it to be checked - in my experience most places just take one look and say 'it can't be done' and I say 'oh really well you're just a f**king noob then aren't you' (or rather, I think that and actually smile politely in a 'I apologise I'm a girl and I don't know what I'm saying' way).

check the length of the wishbones, maybe soeone has put a mk3 one on one side
