Hi would any one know how much a Mk2 Golf 16Valve J plate is lowered by from factory?

you are? then how come some people are lowering then to 40mm.. i need to get a rough idea on how much to lower mines, anyone got any ideas? or any pics to help show me?

optimum handling at 40mm as the wishbones are level, it also wont be a nag to use daily and have problems with speed bumps etc. :smiley:

yea thats true say. i was thinking about 60mm at the front and 40mm at the back..thing is i want to see what it would look like..what do ya think?

With diff. heights front/rear, you'll encourage under/overstear.

i agree with that but its not like e can go street racing around where i am, otherwise ill be on roadwars in no time haha.. but apart from that reason, there isnt nothing stoping me from doin it is there?
