This is one of my favorite things i have done to my car - very easy to do!

And my best mod - i have a Doug-charger - no extra power just a lot of noise!!!

This is strange, im trying to do this mod and on the point where you remove the bung to fit it, the gap is massive. There is no way of getting anut behind either. Anyone got any ideas?
Pic coming....
Cheers

When you remove the bung, your'e looking at an oblong type cutout? Just hold your nut in an open ended spanner while you screw the ball end bolt into it, it will catch and pull the nut up.
If you're looking at something else - it's the wrong bit

I found this link
http://www.gti-vr6.net/library/body_exterior/inst_Pep_Boys_hood_struts/frames.html
and it shows a different location to what some of you guys have used, would this matter?

"you'll see what I mean when you're there"
That phrase brings back some fond memories of my first girlfriend.
She had that written in big letters on her headboard.
Aah bless
