Wobbly when driving!

My project Ghetto is being a little bit of a bum hole! When I am driving along and get to about 40mph, the rear end is all over the place and feels like it is going to break! Scares the life out of me. I have changed the suspension over but this has had no effect?  Any ideas on what else I need to do to resolve this issue, I was thinking of maybe the bushes? Any ideas would be good.

The back end's skittish?

Binding rear brakes
Front / Rear ride heights different
Worn rear beam bushes / Poly bushed rear (Poly bushes at the back are notorious for firming up the rear and making it lairy)
Worn rear strut top mounts (cone rubber affairs)
Bald tyres / Mismatched directional tyres / Directionals wrong way round (look for INSIDE or ROTATION)
Bad wheel balancing
Loose / Worn wheel bearing
Incorrect toe / camber

Pick one ;)

Does the back end bounce around roundabouts with pot holes?

Mine does and ive narrowed it down to worn axel bushes. Missions to change so ive heard.

Nah, it just wobbles and feels like the wheels are about to come off???????

I would find the problem asap, had a rear wheel bearing collapse on me on the motorway doing 70+ ended up in the crash barrier, not fun!

The car is not being used at the moment and I won't drive it until I am happy with it. Not into hospital food tbh, although if I was with BUPA it would not be to bad! :D

Mine was the same till i replaced the rear beam bushes. Check them? :smiley:

when you say check the rear beam brushes - what are you looking for? the pot hole bouncing sounds simlar to mine
