When you say sheeting, what do you mean? I normally give it a blast with the pressure washer and push as much of the standing water as possible off with that but there is usually still some on the flat surfaces etc...

don't use the pressure washer for this - just use the hose (without any attachments) and literally let the water fall onto the car

a carefully prepared / waxed surface will 'sheet' the water away leaving either tiny droplets or next to no water on the surface meaning no unsightly marks if the water drys quickly and less need for the use of a drying towel  :smiley:

OK this is a stupid question but what is the difference between something like the Sonus and a synthetic chamois?

I've been using AG Aqua-dry for years and it seems very good.

Would something like the Sonus towels be better for my paintwork?

Bear in mind I wax after every wash anyway.
