The reason why I was slagging off the dealer network is -
1. The whole concept of what they were looking for was never explained. The term "book" was never explained. Several other dealers couldn't work out which book I was referring too

2. On the basis that they couldn't find the car, they didn't go ANY further in TRYING - now as a purchaser/customer, I EXPECT them to at least FIND the car. After all, it is THEIR sale.
3. I expect that the most basic of common courtesy be honoured in the form of a
phone call
I have never had any returned phone calls regarding this. I've even been to the dealers in question to speak to a salesman about this. They wouldn't even come to talk to me - fobbing me off that they were busy, and they would call me back..... still waiting

3. I've now tried 4 different VW dealers, all of which have either not returned phone-calls, emails etc.
So far my experience of VW dealers has been absolutely fcuking awful (with exception of Cheltenham VW

) - poor customer service with non-existent sales care (they just don't care)
What I find intriguing is that surely all motor traders work from the same pricing details..... so why can independent dealers find the car, but not VW?

But thank you for your valuable input caddy vantastic - I can see that you'll be somebody to watch on this website....... and ignore. There's no need to be so derisive about a genuine query.
